Niche Marketing Archives

no spam!

I belonged to Article Marketing Automation for quite a while and was pretty satisfied with them. I will say that they have provided me with a ton of content for a number of my blogs. That was in the past though, things have changed and it doesn’t seem like it will ever recover.

Poor English Skills

I may be wrong but when I get articles from AMA I expect a few things. The content needs to be readable but that’s not always the case as not everyone has great English writing skills. If it shows in their articles I end up rejecting them because, well they will reflect on my English skills.

I reject too many article each day because I have to re-read them before I can get what the author us saying. When that happens I have to either re-write the article or reject it.

Spamming Non Relevant Categories

I would have to say that spamming non related categories has to be the thing I hate the most. So much so that by the time I am done with AMA each morning I am stressed way more than I need to be.

Spammers really burn me up and I tend to get very nasty when I leave feedback on these spammer’s articles.

You may sell print cartridges, insurance or drugs and that’s fine, just don’t spam your crap in my categories. That sounds fair but then these morons wouldn’t have any way to share their articles would they, so they feel it’s okay to spam us.

I will keep voicing my opinion about this spammers in the feedback box until Article Marketing Automation does something about them or bans me.

So Called Experts

When someone tells me they are an expert that’s fine but when they write an article that fits one of my niches and then they add non relevant links instead of linking to content that adds value to the article they wrote I just get pissed.

If they are such experts then why don’t you have sites that match the content they are writing instead of linking to roofing or plumbing in their fly fishing articles. Still spammers in my books.

Linking To The Same Content

This one really sets me off. I read an article, it looks good, then I follow the links like I do on every article only to find that it’s is linked to the same damn article. What’s up with that?

Conclusion

I currently have 20 blogs I get articles for and I have been spending more and more time trying to find good content that reads well, has relevant links and doesn’t link to the same article. Well it’s not as easy as it once was.

Just this morning, the main reason I wrote this post, I spent more than two hours going through article after article and pretty much every single one fell short due to the reasons listed above.

Article Marketing Automation is slacking off and my recommendation is to just pass it on by until they do something to make it the way it was when it started.

My First E-book Venture Online

Lumia Laser effects

I finally wrote my first E-book entitled ” RGB Laser Projector Design Guide ” and launched it on April 24/09. I also promoted my new E-book on a forum I belong to  called Photonlexicon. I also uploaded a video on Youtube  to show what a Laser projector can do using a Lumia wheel and it’s been viewed 60 times in 6 days.

My hobby of laser entertainment started over 10 years ago. I was always interested in technology and lasers so learning was easy and .I learned a thing or two about lasers by owning and caring for everything from large, power hungry, water cooled, hernia generating,White light Ion gas lasers, to solid state, RGB portable DPSS lasers . I have designed and built many laser projectors in over 10 years, so have some measure of expertise and experience. I decided to compile information on how to design and build your own laser projector into a convenient digital format E-book.

It’s been a week since my new E-book was released and things are looking good. I checked Google for fun and did a search for ” RGB Laser Projector Design Guide ” and I found my link at the top of the first page ,#1 in organic rankings, Woohoo !….

In only a week I made it to the top of the SEO rankings of Google , made 4 sales and have had 50 people (from 12 countries) download my free Lumia wheel making instructions. The results are impressive enough to continue ,it took a lot of hard work, but it was a satisfying experience.

Now that my E-book is completed and launched, comes the learning curve of marketing the product to a larger audience using social media sites. The learning curve was steep but the results were worth it. I recommend to anyone who has an area of expertise and a passion for their hobby to write an E-book and monetize it. It’s a satisfying and rewarding process.

End to a perfect day

You shouldn’t go into the niche marketing business until you have a niche blueprint.

Having thorough research is the most effective way of finding a profitable niche. Go on discussion boards to check out what people are interested in. Discover what the most popular searches are on any given niche by using keyword research tools. Keep your ears open for new trends and movements.

You can tell if a niche is profitable in a number of ways. First of all, if the terms related to the niche seem to be searched regularly and that there aren’t too many people competing for them on Google, then there is a possibility that you’ve found a good niche. The niche may not be heavily marketed to simply because it is not marketable and you should look into this possibility. You will find some niches have heavy search volumes and a lot of competition. These are clearly profitable, but because of the amount of competition, you product or any niche marketing effort might fail if it’s not top notch and efficiently promoted.

Also, there are niches with little competition because they are obscure. However, it can be because there is really no market. Testing is the only fail proof means to confirm if you’ve discovered a viable niche.

What’s the proper [method]way to test my niche? Well, you can go on forums and ask questions about a potential product you might pitch or create. Some internet marketing forums will even allow you to poll people who read your thread so you can use them to gauge exactly how people are responding to your idea. If you were thinking about launching a product, do a pre-launch to see how people are responding. Low cost or even no cost marketing strategies can be executed to test the waters if you are thinking about marketing products through niche affiliate marketing programs.

What is the most effective way to make money with niche marketing? This is a difficult question because there really isn’t a “best” way to promote to a niche. Depending upon your niche, your budget, and your skill sets, blogging may be more profitable for certain people. Some might consider setting up a newsletter whereas others might consider creating a niche report or a full on e-book or video series for their niche. Making money using niche marketing is possible by using any one of a large variety of methods so to name one method as the best is extremely hard.

Niche marketing, when implemented right is surprisingly straightforward. Very quickly, you should be halfway through conquering the niche marketing field if you do market research, test your products effectively and use a variety of tactics to drive traffic to your niche businesses.
