I belonged to Article Marketing Automation for quite a while and was pretty satisfied with them. I will say that they have provided me with a ton of content for a number of my blogs. That was in the past though, things have changed and it doesn’t seem like it will ever recover.

Poor English Skills

I may be wrong but when I get articles from AMA I expect a few things. The content needs to be readable but that’s not always the case as not everyone has great English writing skills. If it shows in their articles I end up rejecting them because, well they will reflect on my English skills.

I reject too many article each day because I have to re-read them before I can get what the author us saying. When that happens I have to either re-write the article or reject it.

Spamming Non Relevant Categories

I would have to say that spamming non related categories has to be the thing I hate the most. So much so that by the time I am done with AMA each morning I am stressed way more than I need to be.

Spammers really burn me up and I tend to get very nasty when I leave feedback on these spammer’s articles.

You may sell print cartridges, insurance or drugs and that’s fine, just don’t spam your crap in my categories. That sounds fair but then these morons wouldn’t have any way to share their articles would they, so they feel it’s okay to spam us.

I will keep voicing my opinion about this spammers in the feedback box until Article Marketing Automation does something about them or bans me.

So Called Experts

When someone tells me they are an expert that’s fine but when they write an article that fits one of my niches and then they add non relevant links instead of linking to content that adds value to the article they wrote I just get pissed.

If they are such experts then why don’t you have sites that match the content they are writing instead of linking to roofing or plumbing in their fly fishing articles. Still spammers in my books.

Linking To The Same Content

This one really sets me off. I read an article, it looks good, then I follow the links like I do on every article only to find that it’s is linked to the same damn article. What’s up with that?

Conclusion

I currently have 20 blogs I get articles for and I have been spending more and more time trying to find good content that reads well, has relevant links and doesn’t link to the same article. Well it’s not as easy as it once was.

Just this morning, the main reason I wrote this post, I spent more than two hours going through article after article and pretty much every single one fell short due to the reasons listed above.

Article Marketing Automation is slacking off and my recommendation is to just pass it on by until they do something to make it the way it was when it started.

I spent a lot of time writing my own articles but when I reached a certain point I couldn’t keep up so I started using private label rights articles. That was alright but to make it work with PLR I had to start rewriting those articles.

Eventually I admitted that it would be wise to outsource and get unique articles.

If you outsource your article marketing needs, you may be able to increase your profits even if you have to pay somebody else to write the articles for you.  While there are many reasons for this observation, one of them is that you need a lot of time to write the articles.  Pretty soon you may find that a large part of your time is spent on composing the articles and you have very little time left to do the other essential activities in Internet marketing.  You may also note that a professional article writing service provider could do the work for you in much less time than if you do the writing yourself.

Remember that competition in the Internet has been increasing steadily so that now you need to publish more articles in more directories compared to a few years ago.  The work needed for writing the articles has, therefore, become even harder.  And if your competitors outsource their article marketing needs, you may find it very hard to gain the upper hand because they can publish their articles on tap much faster than you.  You are in danger of losing your business if your competitors begin to reduce your market share, thereby reducing your profits.  It is easy to see why outsourcing your article writing needs could earn you more money in the long run.

However, you need to have done article marketing work yourself for a certain time before you begin to think of outsourcing the writing of your articles.  This will allow you to have a benchmark on which to compare the performance of your service provider to know when they are doing well or if you have to look for another provider.  You also have an idea about the features of quality articles with regards to keyword density, construction, etc.  You also know the work required to write the articles and you can come up with a realistic price and turnaround time.

If possible, always alter the article in wording without losing the meaning, especially if you plan on submitting them to article directories. Modify the articles according to what you have planned to do with them. For instance, if you just want to place the article on your website, you can get away with changing anywhere from 25% - 50% of it. Since contents that are submitted to article directories will be manually reviewed by human, the articles need to be completely rewritten.

Do not worry about rewriting articles yourself. You can hire someone competent enough to help you rewritting your articles. It usually costs about 3 to 5 dollars per article. It is very possible to hire a rewriter for a lower enough price that you still receive a substantial savings on the PLR article pack.

Another alternative is to simply gather some PLR articles that have the same subject, and then make them into a mini e-course which can be used to gather opt-in by turning it into a PDF document and giving it away to your website visitors.

You may worry that these articles may be used multiple times by several others too. However, the good thing is that these articles can be rewritten or modified slightly to go well with your selected subject, keyword densities, and then published as original content. Remember, you can utilize these articles as you wish since all rights belong to them are given away to you. The membership to these PLR article sites is limited because of the fact that not many people can be given access to the similar articles.

Usually, PLR articles are used on more than one site. An example: to buy PLR articles that cost $100 per month, $100 a month spread between four to six sites comes to only $1200 a year, which is an affordable business investment compared to the cost of hiring your own writer, which usually cost $10 to $50 per article. Only stay with the PLR articles provider who controls the articles quality. So, make sure to take the time to check the content quality when choosing PLR articles providers. Well-written, carefully-edited PLR articles are usually well worth the monthly fee.
