Most of the ebooks I have read were to teach me more about marketing skills that make me more money but many helped me in other areas of my life as well.

Include the word ebook at the end and you will most likely find an ebook on the topic. It just makes sense to write about what you know and share that with others who are interested. Do it right and you can make some great money.
