Putting Value on a Book

Does this example make sense. The value of a book can only be determined by the reader.What the reader gets out of a book can only be decided by that reader.
There are many examples of this. Take the Hoy Bible for example. What is it worth to a true Christian?The bible is worth everything to a true christian. How the Christian treats other people.How they earn their living. Where they spend and how they spend their income. The Bible may be a complete road map to their lives.
Now let’s take an atheist. What is the worth or value to an atheist? The Holy Bible has no value what so ever. The atheist could not care less what the bible says. As a matter of fact, they may deliberately try and lead their live in the exact opposite way.Let’s just say tithing to the church didn’t cross their mind.Why would they? They don’t believe a word of the bible.
This is the exact same principal with Internet marketing “How To” books.”How To” books on online marketing can be valueless to you but pricless to someone else.If the problem is solved by that one tip or strategy the reader will find the book pricless. The other reader claims they got nothing out of the book. Value can be found in every book, but it’s your responsability to find it.
The sad part is each reader read the exact same words and they came to totally different conclusions.The first reader can change his whole business strategy and grow based on the books information and the next reader throws the book away. Believe me this happens all the time with online marketing books.
Each and every Internet marketing book has value if you will just look for it. All it takes is one, just one tip or strategy to change your whole Internet marketing business. Sometimes you may have to read the book twice or maybe three times before you find the nugget of gold.If that nugget of gold is found, it will be worth many times the cost of the book.
So, how can you reduce the time it takes to find the gold?Finding the nugget is simple if you read the “How To” book with an open mind. Be skeptical, but read and re-read even your old books.You will never know when the next nugget of information will be presented to you or how much it’s worth.
Last thing to remember, if you don’t read as much as you can your business will never be as good as it can be. Also, if you never take action you will never have a business.
